The Dial: Only Few Survive

The dial is the canvas, and the soul of every Homemade watch. While I craft many styles, Vitreous Enamel is the star of the show—a delicate dance with fire where powdered glass is fused to metal at over 1,400°F. Each dial is designed, laser-cut, torch-fired, and hand-finished in-house—requiring four to six hours of meticulous craftsmanship. The true cost is measured in patience: for every dial that meets my standard, about seven others are surrendered to the scrap heap.

The Design & Build: A Practice in Mindfulness

After my career as a firefighter came to an unexpected end due to PTSD, this work became a vital extension of my therapy. The '222' is a completely original design born from that journey and a numeral pattern that holds significant meaning. I curate every component and hand-build each watch in my Rhode Island studio, ensuring they are regulated to ±10 seconds per day. My work is governed by the creative process; designs are retired without warning and never repeated.

The Promise: It’s Personal

From the first sketch to long after it leaves my bench, every watch is a personal expression of craft—a piece of a story that I am proud to share and confidently back.
