Stand Up. Stand In. Stand Out.
Handcrafted Watches Rooted In Rhode Island’s Heritage Of Community, Resilience, & Hope
Twenty-four hours. That was the only grace period my Aunt Antonia had between stepping off a plane from Italy and clocking in for her first shift at the Bulova Watch Company in Providence. For my “Zia,” what began as a necessity became an inspiring forty-year manufacturing legacy. That standard of labor raised me. My own career has been lived in the blur of a speeding rescue, the pull of a firehose, and the rhythm of a job site.
As a lifelong artist and watch enthusiast, discovering my Zia’s story felt like a homecoming. I’ve worn countless timepieces, yet none ever felt like “the one.” I sought a timepiece with local roots—something attainable, but not mass-produced. I wanted a workhorse with the distinction of a gallery piece: a watch built to survive my days, navigate them, and ground me through them. When I couldn’t find it, I realized it was time to sell my collection and make it myself—a mindset inherited from the generations before me. So, welcome—I invite you to experience The Homemade Difference.
