Homemade?

I can taste it as I write it: the homemade gnocchi, the rich tomato sauce, and the wine we make down in the basement. In my Italian-American home, Homemade is simply how we live. The kitchen is a constant workshop, churning out everything from fresh pasta and pizza dough to our own sausage and cured meats.

But this "Homemade" isn't a strict definition. The tomatoes for our sauce don’t always ALL come from our garden. We unfortunately don’t have the climate for our favorite Zinfandel grapes, nor does the ricotta for the lasagna come from our own cows, though at one point, our eggs for the gnocchi did come from our chickens. The flour for the pasta isn't grown in our fields. It doesn't need to be.

The real meaning of Homemade is never about absolute self-sufficiency. It is about the care and passion poured into everything we make. It is a flavor and a presentation that is uniquely ours. It is a difference you can feel—made with care and creativity, and shared with endearment.

That is the Homemade Difference and the enduring qualities of the Homemade Watch Company.
